  • Jump Start™ is an accelerated 16-week training program.

    The program length is intentionally designed to balance:

    • Time to independent practice

    While 16 weeks is typical, the program structure allows for flexibility based on learner progress, organizational needs, and acuity mix.

  • The implementation timeline depends on your organization’s current infrastructure and readiness.

    In most cases:

    • Program setup takes approximately 3–4 weeks

    • Time is allocated for onboarding optimization, credentialing workflows (if required), preceptor identification, and curriculum alignment

    Organizations with existing onboarding or education frameworks may be able to implement more quickly, while others may benefit from deeper foundational development—both of which Elevora supports.

  • APCs in the Jump Start™ Program are hired as providers, not students.

    All Jump Start™ APCs must:

    1. Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program

    2. Hold national board certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)

    3. Possess a valid state license

    Additional credentialing or privileging requirements follow the organization’s internal policies.

  • Yes. APCs are typically compensated as providers throughout the program.

    Compensation structures vary by organization and may include:

    • Standard provider salary

    • Tiered or stepped compensation during training

    • Reduced training salary models

    • Training Repayment Agreement Provisions (TRAPs), if applicable

  • Yes. Structured clinical shadowing is the cornerstone of the Jump Start™ Program.

    Clinical shadowing:

    • Begins early in the program

    • Continues throughout training

    • Emphasizes progressive responsibility under supervision

    APCs gain real-time experience in patient evaluation, decision-making, documentation, and procedural care—supported by trained preceptors providing direct coaching and feedback.

  • Preceptor quality and availability are critical to training success.

    • A preceptor may be assigned up to two Jump Start™ APCs total

    • During clinical shifts, the working ratio is 1:1 (Preceptor to APC)

    This ensures:

    • Direct supervision

    • Timely feedback

    • Safe patient care

    Preceptor development includes:
